AR Rahman’s worldwide collaborations have left us in awe, from Bombay Dreams to Marvel Anthem

<p>On January 7, 2024, AR Rahman became 57 years old. He doesn’t require an introduction. The maestro of music is considered a phenomenon not just in India but worldwide. He has produced some of the best work over the course of a decades-long career, making him a force to be reckoned with in the music and film industries.</p>

<p>Let’s examine his compositions as a worldwide music composer in honor of his birthday.</p>
<p>Elizabeth: The Age of Grace<br />
For Shekhar Kapur’s Elizabeth: The Golden Age, in 2007, Scottish Hollywood composer Craig Armstrong and AR Rahman worked together.</p>
<p>Incited<br />
The music maestro wrote the complete soundtrack and cinematic score for the Aishwarya Rai flick. Kevin David performed the theme song for the movie Alive.</p>
<p>Individuals Just Like Us<br />
Steven Speilberg provided backing for People Like Us, which had eighteen tunes composed by Rahman. Rahman worked with American rock singer-songwriter Liz Phair on the movie.</p>
<p>127 Days<br />
Rahman and Danny Boyle worked together again after Slumdog Millionaire on the James Franco film 127 Hours. Rahman co-wrote a song with English singer-songwriter Dido that was nominated for an Academy Award as well.</p>
<p>Arm for a Million Dollar<br />
In the Walt Disney Studios film Million Dollar Arm, Jon Hamm portrayed JB Bernstein, an American sports agent. Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Iggy Azaela, and KT Tunstall were among the performers on the album.</p>
<p>Marvel: Anthem<br />
To draw in more Indian viewers, Marvel Studios got Rahman to write the Marvel Anthem in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. The maestro himself wrote and performed the tune.</p>
<p>Dreams of Bombay<br />
In 2002, Rahman collaborated with lyricist Don Black to create the film’s soundtrack.</p>
