The board reads Dilli Ka Asli Swaad, Har Roz, Har Baar. This is Lal Qilaa Express, a quick-service restaurant brand from Shree Sharda Group — and it’s the first restaurant brand the group has ever built entirely from scratch.
Lal Qilaa Express serves a menu built around the food of Old Delhi — dal makhani, tandoori kebabs, parathas, curries, biryanis and chaats — adapted for a QSR format, with their famous chole bhature not to be missed. The outlet’s interiors use the brick-red associated with the Red Fort, and the brand identity carries the line Dilli Ka Asli Swaad, Har Roz, Har Baar.
Shree Sharda Group, founded by Anirudh Agarwal, with Saumya Lohia Agarwal as co-founder, has stores across Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, with new launches coming soon in Calicut, Chennai and Mohali. Until now, the group’s F&B business has grown through two international formats brought into the Indian market: Papparoti India, a coffee-bun cafe chain, and Wok to Walk India, a wok-based Asian street food brand from Barcelona with 100+ stores globally and 4 in India.
